3296 – 3/8 ” Square Trimpot Trimming Potentiometers perform a variety of circuit adjustments in all types of electronic equipment. Lead screw, worm gear, and planetary gear are the three forms of actuation used in multi-turn trimmers. Trimmers with lead screws have a linear wiper path, whereas those with worm gear and planetary gear have a circular path. Multiturn trimmers are ideal for applications requiring precise resistance control. The potentiometer is easy to mount on a PCB and can be adjusted using a screwdriver/tuner.
